Comments

Comments let your team annotate models with questions, feedback, and decisions — keeping the conversation alongside the schema.

Add a comment

Select an entity type or relationship on the canvas. In the right panel, click the Comments tab, then Add comment. Comments support plain text and are posted immediately.

Threads

Replies to a comment form a thread. Click Reply under any comment to respond. Threads keep related discussion grouped together.

Resolve a thread

Once a discussion is resolved, click Resolve on the thread. Resolved threads are collapsed but retained — click Show resolved to view them. Any team member can resolve or reopen a thread.

Commenters have read access to the full model but cannot edit the schema. This makes the commenter role ideal for stakeholders and reviewers.

Notifications

OWB does not currently send email notifications for comments. This is planned for a future release.
